Description

The Epiphone Les Paul Studio is part of the “Inspired by Gibson” collection that borrows the best basics—mahogany body, tune-o-matic bridge, Grover tuners and Alnico Classic PRO ‘buckers—while ditching the rest. It’s a no-frills guitar that still thrills with complex, vintage-inspired tones. The Les Paul Studio is a solid choice for players who want a lightweight Les Paul at an affordable price.

Les Paul Studio Main Features
Mahogany body with maple veneer top
Mahogany neck with 1960s Slim Taper D profile, Indian laurel fretboard
Alnico Classic PRO humbucker (neck), Alnico Classic Pro (bridge), 3-way toggle
LockTone ABR tune-o-matic bridge, stopbar tailpiece, Grover 18:1 ratio tuners

Body Construction
The Les Paul Studio has a mahogany body and a maple veneer top—a classic combination since the early days of the Les Paul. The body is lighter than a traditional Les Paul and easier on the shoulders.

Neck Construction
Epiphone outfitted the mahogany neck with a comfortable ’60s Slim Taper D profile. The neck joint is glued in for maximum sustain. The Indian Laurel fretboard features trapezoid inlays and medium jumbo frets.

Les Paul Studio Electronics
A pair of Alnico Classic Pro humbuckers (neck and bridge) are steeped in vintage tones. CTS pots offer a smooth taper on dual volume and tone controls.

Hardware
The Studio is loaded with a LockTone ABR tune-o-matic bridge with individual saddles for precise intonation. A stopbar tailpiece and Grover tuners are also standard.

Other high-quality specifications include black speed knobs and a refined headstock shape with a mother-of-pearl Epiphone logo.
